Very cool. There's a great picture of Jack on the back of the 40th anniversary hardcover of him opening up a box of the first copy of On the Road and holding the book in his hand for the first time. Must have been a moment of sweet vindication after all those years of struggling to get it out there. Even with all the edits.
Congratulations!:) I'm curious what you will find in the book (notes of a previous owner, maybe a lost theatre ticket...). With a book like "On the road" I always love the hidden treasures it gathers from being on the road and having changed hands countless times before ending up in mine. Enjoy it!
