Click here for Variety's take on the movie version of our favorite novel, On The Road. While the review is mixed, they do say some positive things (thankfully)!
Have to tell you that The Guardian didn't like it much either, gave it too stars and pretty much panned it. It seemed to be more concerned with dislike of the lifestyle choices of the story than an actual critique of the film or its performances. Confess am mainly put off by the presence of Kristen Stewart as she cannot act for buttons. Oh well. much love martine
Thanks, Martine. We agree - the critics seem to be focusing on the beat lifestyle instead of the film! I haven't been a big Kristen Stewart fan in the past, but she went up a few notches in my book when she acknowledge Gerry Nicosia by name at the Cannes press conference.
