Happy Birthday, Allen Ginsberg!

Beat poet extraordinaire Allen Ginsberg was born this day in 1926 in Newark , NJ.

To celebrate Allen's birthday, today's Kerouaction is to visit Poets.org and read his most famous poem, "Howl." Then, read some poems by others who he influenced or vice versa: William Carlos Williams, Ezra Pound, T.S. Eliot, Hart Crane, Walt Whitman, William Blake, Dylan Thomas, Robert Creeley, and Denise Levertov.

That should keep you quite busy.

Happy Birthday, Allen!
